Gordie Gillespie is a true sports legend.
While most coaches are proficient in one sport, Gordie is the ultimate
"coach’s coach", being able to create championship teams in football,
baseball and basketball. For over 45 years, Gordie has coached
thousands of student athletes, all of whom benefited from his guidance
and knowledge. Many have graduated to the professional ranks after
learning the value of hard work and discipline that is a hallmark of
all Gordie’s teams.

Fred Massey was born in Nyesville,
Indiana, just north of Terre Haute and his great uncle Mordecai Brown.
Fred and his older brother Joe grew up under the watchful eye of their
Uncle “Mort” and inevitably followed in the family tradition of
baseball. While his brother Joe took to the pitcher’s mound, Fred
covered the outfield for minor league teams, such as the Rockville
Merchants and Bloomingdale of the Wabash Valley League.

David Benham was born in Orlando, Florida. During his senior year of high school Benham was named Mizuno All-American. Collegiate Baseball Magazine
listed him as one of the top 50 prospects in the country for 1993 and
1994. He was drafted by the New York Mets in 1994, but he chose to
first attend college, signing a full baseball scholarship at Liberty
University. After becoming the All Big South Conference Catcher of the
Year three seasons running, he was again drafted by the Mets. Once more
David saw the need to complete his education. With the decision to
finish out his senior year, he also helped his college team into the
NCAA Division 1 Regional Tournament.

Robert Max 'Bob' Terhune Jr. was born in
Dayton, Ohio. All western film fans have seen Bob Terhune’s work in
films such as RIO BRAVO, HIGH PLAINS DRIFTER, and CAHILL U.S. MARSHALL.
Bob’s list of film credits covers some of the most beloved movies of
all time.

Joe Santry was born and raised in
Columbus, Ohio. Joe is a graduate of Bishop Hartley High School and
attended The Ohio State University. Joe Santry serves as the Director
of Communications/Media and Historian for the Columbus Clippers. During
Joe’s tenure with the Clippers, the team completed a twenty-two year
partnership as the New York Yankees' Triple-A affiliate. The Clippers
return to the National League farm system in 2007, as the minor league
affiliate of the Washington Nationals.

Luis Lopez was born in Bedford Stuyvesant,
Brooklyn and grew up as one of America’s die-hard New York Yankee fans.
At an early age Luis began to show commanding artistic abilities. He
attended LaGuardia High School of the Performing Arts, aka “FAME”,
where he was able to fine tune his artistic talent.

beyond being a relative of the immortal Mordecai “Three Finger” Brown.
At an early age Zac became a true student of the game. Having been born
into a baseball family, Zac has grown up listening to the instruction
of the old veterans. It has been his passion for the diamond that has
caused him to not only learn from those gone before him, but also to
study the dynamics of modern baseball.
