Bruce’s interest and enthusiasm for baseball and sports began as a child in Southwest Ohio. He and his father enjoyed spending time together sitting in the stands of Riverfront Stadium and watching the Cincinnati Reds. His Dad, “Big Bruce” Terry, was one of the founders and owners of Steele Sports Company and the Steele World Champion Softball Team. Playing baseball and wrestling throughout his school years fanned the flame of his love of sports.

After college Bruce became actively involved in the positive life development of young people as a youth pastor and also as a chaplain for a local high school football team. He is now the Senior Pastor of Liberty Church in Birmingham, Alabama, where he has faithfully served for over two decades. Bruce continues to intertwine his dedication to the youth of our nation and he athletic passion by coaching children’s baseball and wrestling.

Bruce and his wife Anita have four children, Katie Grace, Jonah, Natalie, and Alexander.
